Welcome to my new blog. Yes, you are correct. I already had a blog prior to this... but you know what? I didn't really like that one. Something about it did not feel quite right, so, since I can do what I want with my own website, I decided to start fresh. Tabula Rasa. Carpe Diem. It's a new day, a new year and therefore, a NEW BLOG! Yahoo!!!
For the upcoming year I am going to concentrate on who I am TODAY and not so much who I used to be. I think a certain amount of refelction is healthy, however, for me, I can tend to think a bit too much about my past and about all the ways in which I fall short or need to improve.
So this blog and the year 2016 is going to be more about what I am doing right, more about hope, more about the good plans God has for me and more about being my true self and not only following my dreams but fiercely pursuing them too.
For Christmas this year, I am going to wrap up a little gift. This little treasure will sit under my small Charlie Brown tree. The tag will say To: Mandy, From: Mandy. Inside the gift will be a note that reads:
"Dear Mandy, Merry Christmas beautiful woman! You had a great year and guess what? You are about to have an even more wonderful year in 2016! It will be year filled with peace, joy, healthy self reflection, healthy eating, healthy exercise, more freedom and self-expression than you thought possible, levels of tremendous grace for youself, self-confidence, creativity beyond your wildest dreams, finding the love of your life and a self-assurance you have never experienced before. So, my dear Mandy, Merry Christmas and here's to a happy new year! I love you! "
2015 was great! I grew both as an artist and as a person by leaps and bounds. A lot of things happened and in case you are curious here are a few of the highlights:
So, Merry Christmas to you! I wish you a beautiful 2016, and please, please, please write some positive things about your 2015 year and what you are looking forward to for 2016.
The two images attached to this blog are some holiday face and body painting designs that I did this season.
I love you!
